OOTD & 100 followers

Hey hey hey... ahh I am so excited right now! I was having a pretty bad day, doing a logic worksheet for a philosophy tutorial (yes I am a geek at heart), and then I checked out my blog... And guess what? Ok you have probably already guessed from my blog title.. I have my first 100 followers! I feel like it's the most significant milestone, as it actually makes you realise that someone is interested in your casual everyday blog rambling. I have not been blogging for long, only couple of months, and I have not been doing a good job with making my posts regular. So thank you so much to all of you who follow me, I promise to d a much better job in the future :) And those who don't yet... well there is only one things left for you to do... ;) press the Join button!

I know this post is probably not a very exciting one, so I am going to mix it up a bit with an OOTD. Just a casual look that I wore for a day of shopping in our beautiful capital London. And believe it or not I am really not a fan of TOPSHOP... But this outfit somehow makes me wonder.... :P

OOTD - Mix&Match

Hey... Right... I have decided to be more adventurous when it comes to clothes. I always buy unique, vintage and quirky bits, but I never actually end up wearing them. Whenever I put an outfit together I always fear that it's too much, too bright or too out there. So my aim is to be brave and creative.
I know often a lot can be too much so I would really appreciate any comments on this outfit. It's hard to decide when to stop; a hat, a scarf, socks... or not at all. In the end I was quite pleased with this outfit, and thought it was worthy of a spotlight on my blog ;) Let me know what you think...

My 21st Birthday in Amsterdam

Hey Everyone...
The 21st Birthday is certainly one of the biggest milestones in life, a big step into adulthood and the world of responsibilities. I wanted to make my 21st very special, and I have definitely achieved that. I can't say I have become more wiser or mature since turning 21, but I have definitely learnt that I have the most amazing friends in the world. The most important ingredient to a good birthday are your friends, and when you end up celebrating it in the city of red lights... well, it is simply the icing on the cake. I've had the most amazing weekend in Amsterdam, with 12 of my lovely girls, which have made my birthday very special. It's a shame that we only had 2 days to explore, but we managed to make our weekend as compact and as fun as possible.
Me and my Dutch friend Sandra
There are many reasons to why I have chose to celebrate my birthday in Amsterdam. It is absolutely unique and beautiful. Being there gives you this weird feeling on invincibility and freedom. Your ethics and morals are questioned, and what you previously though wrong, becomes right. It's a brilliant city with a lot to do and a lot to see, so I would definitely recommend it.
The clubbing scene is also brilliant. One of the clubs that we ended up going to is called "Studio 80", which is one of the best house/techno clubs in Dam. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it. Amsterdam does offer a lot of student bars/clubs also, so even if you are on a budget you are still guaranteed to have a good time.

OOTD - Embracing the forthcoming Spring

Hey :) It was so exciting to finally see more muted and pale pallets for the Summer/Spring collection after a season of acid colours. I know we only just mid way through the winter, but I decided to give this trend a go. Don't get me wrong, I loved the high contrast colours and colour blocking that we saw on the cat walk last season, but I think it's nice to see more delicate and subtle garments. This particular outfit is centred around my vintage shirt that I got from Cow a while back. Its very delicate in both texture and colour, and I just love how it can make the entire outfit stand out, without screaming "look at me!".

OOTD - Summer please stay with us...

The day was warm but windy and this outfit was practical and girly. I am really into maxi and midi at the moment and just can't get enough of it. It's so BOHO especially if you braid your hair :) I am also a big fan of prints, and that zebra shirt is so funky. I just love it sooooo much...
