Capes are not just for Superheroes...

I can't  begin to tell you how much I love my cape. So much, that I am dedicating a whole blog post to it (it's not because I can't think of anything else to write about, I promise ;) I am so glad that the whole cape trend is back again, because it simply rocks! If you are like me, and into some serious bike riding, I would suggest that you should definitely invest into one of them. The best cycling wear out there..HAHA... But on the serious note...

I brought this cape from a vintage shop called COW. If you ever come across it you should definitely check it out. It cost me only £35, which is a bargain. I love the red lining inside the cape and the velvet peter pan collar which unfortunately you can't see from the photos... but it's there. Also, it takes a sec to put on, and you're ready to go....

This trend is here to stay, so keep your eyes out for capes, but don't be deceived, we are no Superheroes!

OOTD - Embracing the forthcoming Spring

Hey :) It was so exciting to finally see more muted and pale pallets for the Summer/Spring collection after a season of acid colours. I know we only just mid way through the winter, but I decided to give this trend a go. Don't get me wrong, I loved the high contrast colours and colour blocking that we saw on the cat walk last season, but I think it's nice to see more delicate and subtle garments. This particular outfit is centred around my vintage shirt that I got from Cow a while back. Its very delicate in both texture and colour, and I just love how it can make the entire outfit stand out, without screaming "look at me!".

Been a while.. since I updated my blog :( Today I just want to post some pictures of the outfit that I have put together for a night out. I always wear dresses, skirts, shorts etc. So I thought I'd try something new and less revealing... Ok so now my question for you is "Do you think this outfit works for a night out?"... Ok that is not really my question :) I wanted to see your reaction to Snake Print, in My case those really cool trousers which I really LOVE! Yay or Nay to snake print? This trend has been seen on the runway   but not as much as leather.. Chloe Fall 11 was pretty "Snakey" but no so much anywhere else. Let me know what you are thinking... Yay or Nay?
Snake Print everywhere... My best friend and I

Trend Alert - Peter Pan Colar

Summer is almost over, which is not all bad news.. It's time to get ready for Winter/Fall 11/12... Which means it's time for some serious shopping and exciting new wardrobe :D  The new trends on the catwalk are so exciting and fresh, that I am starting to get a little impatient for this winter season fashion. Prepare yourself to travel back in time, as the 60s trend is going to be BIGWhat I love about this trend, are the cute Peter Pan Collars that give your outfit feminine and very innocent look. Its everywhere from the runway to the high street, so get ready for a shopping spree ...

It's a fun trend and the Miu Miu shirt looks absolutely gorgeous. You don't have to spend a lot, and there are some very cute affordable brands that still look very chic, like the dress from ASOS and Peacocks.

Playsuit - TKmaxx, Shirt - Rare
I have already purchased some cute things. The flower print playsuit is very summery, but the shirt will be a nice bright statement for the fall/winter season, as the bright block colours will remain very much in...but I shall not say anymore than that until my next trend report... Bye for now... Annie x
